A growing number of cruise vessels chooses Port- Louis Harbour as a port of call and in 2015 during the period of November to April 23 cruise vessels berthed at the port. Mauritius is regularly being scheduled on the circuit of world renowned cruise ships such as Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth.

A new terminal will be operational in 2017 to offer quality services to all cruise passengers. Visitors can visit the island either on their own or book visits through their respective travel agents.
